Committed to supporting US military, the Eagles Cheerleaders travel yearly to overseas military bases to perform for the troops. Recent goodwill military tours have included travel to Iraq, Kuwait, Sarajevo, and Kosovo. During their visits, the cheerleaders are able to personally thank the men and women that are serving our country for their sacrifices and bravery.
The Eagles Cheerleaders are regularly featured on national television shows. Just a few of the shows have included NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, ABC's Good Morning America, CBS's Entertainment Tonight, Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report, Showtime's Inside The NFL, and NFL Network’s First on the Field. In 2013, Eagles Cheerleaders appeared in a Super Bowl XLVII Commercial produced by the NFL, with an estimated viewership over of 108 million.
The Eagles Cheerleaders introduced haute couture into the NFL when they unveiled uniforms designed by the famed Vera Wang in 2003. They became the first squad to be outfitted by an internationally renowned designer and gained instant notoriety as the most fashion-forward squad in the NFL. In 2013, Vera Wang created new Signature Pieces for the Eagles Cheerleaders with designs that have become synonymous with their contemporary and distinctive image.
The Eagles Cheerleaders are continually sought after to participate in international tours to perform for their global fan base. Over the past decade, the Eagles Cheerleaders have participated in tours to Montreal, Quebec City, Shanghai, Tokyo, Mexico City, London, and Hong Kong.
Since 2002, the Eagles Cheerleaders have performed at some of the most prestigious sporting events in the world including Super Bowl XXXIX in Jacksonville, Florida, the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio, the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, the Pro Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii, and the NFL Kickoff in Times Square. The popularity of the Eagles Cheerleaders has also given the squad the opportunity to be a part of many unique celebrity-studded events, most recently, appearing at the amfAR Inspirational Gala with Fergie and Marc Jacobs, the NFL Draft at Radio City Music Hall, NYC Fleet Week on the USS Iwo Jima, EA Sports Madden NFL launch, and Jay-Z’s Charity Tournament with Beyonce.
The Eagles Cheerleaders Calendars are known for being the most innovative & successful in all of sports. The Eagles Cheerleaders made national headlines by being the first in professional sports to produce an eco-friendly calendar as well as the first to create a lingerie calendar. In 2012, the forward thinking Eagles Cheerleaders became the first in the NFL to create a Cheerleader Calendar App for iTunes & Android. Within just five days of launching, the app ranked on Android Market’s “Top Paid Sports App” list. The cheerleaders travel internationally for their large scale calendar & calendar app production, with recent calendar shoot destinations including Bahamas, Aruba, Mexico, & the Dominican Republic.
Off the field, the Eagles Cheerleaders spend hundreds of hours each year volunteering for charitable organizations and community oriented events. Additionally, the Eagles Cheerleaders are involved in raising awareness and funds for Eagles Youth Partnership, Eagles Tackling Breast Cancer, and Eagles Go Green.
