Eagles React To Schedule Release

Posted Apr 24, 2014

After months of anticipation, the NFL announced the regular season schedule for all 32 teams on Wednesday night. The Eagles are scheduled to have four prime-time games (with the possibility of more thanks to flex scheduling) and they will also be playing on Thanksgiving Day for the first time since 2008. Combine all of that with the fact that the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks are coming to town in Week 14, and there is certainly a lot to be excited for in 2014.

Eagles fans utilized social media to express their anticipation and excitement for what figures to be a very eventful season, but they were not alone in doing so. Some Eagles players took to Twitter to express their opinions on the recently-released schedule:

In the hours before the schedule release, the anticipation was building …

Meanwhile, Emmanuel Acho was waiting for the weather forecast …

Bennie Logan took his mind off of the schedule release by photo-bombing Will Murphy

Then at 8 PM, the schedule was officially released …

Connor Barwin finally found out exactly when he will be facing his former team (Week 9, by the way) …

Evan Mathis was so excited that he decided to show off his new ride to all of his teammates on Thursday
