Since Howie Roseman took over as the Eagles’ general manager two years ago, the team has selected 24 players through the draft. Of those 24, 20 remain on the roster going into 2012.
For fans who are wondering which players the Eagles might select in the upcoming draft this April, the Senior Bowl will likely offer some clues.
NFL scouts use the contest as a way to gauge how collegiate prospects will fare against premier competition. Twelve of the team’s 24 draft picks in 2010 and 2011 were participants in the college football all-star game. Beginning Monday, PhiladelphiaEagles.com will provide comprehensive coverage of the Senior Bowl practices from Mobile, Ala. On Saturday, January 28, at 4 PM (EST), the 2012 Senior Bowl will be broadcasted on NFL Network. Eagles fans should take notice, because they’ll be likely to get a closer look at some future members of the team.
