Biography

A two-time Pro Bowl linebacker and AP All-Pro selection, DeMeco Ryans established himself as a leader and playmaker on the Eagles defense after being acquired in the 2012 offseason in a trade with the Houston Texans. The Eagles leading tackler in his first season with the team, the cerebral and athletic linebacker was a team captain while with Houston and came to the Eagles as the Texans all-time leader with 637 tackles. Often described as a true professional on and off the field, Ryans is well known for his work in the community and started the DeMeco Ryans Foundation in 2007.
