Biography

A hard-working player with a relentless motor, Derek Landri resigned with the Eagles on 10/4/11 after the team placed defensive tackle Antonio Dixon on Injured Reserve. Since joining the team in Week 5, Landri made an immediate impact on the roster, totaling 43 tackles, 2 sacks and 18 quarterback hurries in just 12 games. Prior to spending training camp with the Eagles in 2011, Landri spent the 2010 season with the Carolina Panthers, where he started in all 16 games and recorded a career-high three sacks. A former fifth round pick of Jacksonville in 2007, Landri spent the first three seasons of his career with the Jaguars.
