Alex Henery (pronounced HEN-ry) was a fourth-round draft choice of the Eagles in 2011 and went on to have an outstanding rookie season in which he set a team record for field goal accuracy, as well as the NFL rookie record by connecting on 88.9% of his attempts. A first-team All-America selection in 2010, Henery handled the kicking and punting duties at the University of Nebraksa, scoring 397 career points on 68 of 76 field goals (89.5%) and finishing his career as the most accurate kicker in NCAA history.
