Biography

A valuable special teams contributor and reserve linebacker, Jason Phillips signed with the Eagles as a free agent during the 2013 offseason. The four-year veteran played in all 16 games (two starts) for the Panthers in 2012 where he led the team with 16 tackles and one forced fumble on special teams. Originally a fifth-round draft choice of Baltimore in 2009, Phillips has spent time with both the Panthers and Ravens in his career. A native of Waller, TX, Phillips was a four-time All-Mountain West Conference selection at TCU.
