Biography

After spending the previous five seasons of his career with the New York Jets, Mark Sanchez signed with the Eagles during the 2014 offseason and agreed to a two-year contract with the team during the 2015 offseason. Originally a first-round selection (fifth overall) in the 2009 NFL Draft, Sanchez, who missed the entirety of the 2013 season with a shoulder injury, led the Jets to consecutive AFC Championship Game berths in his first two seasons in the league, setting a plethora of Jets postseason records in the process. A native of Mission Viejo, CA, Sanchez started 16 games at Southern Cal and was named first-team All-Pac-10 as a junior.
